Vilarinha is a Portuguese modernist house from the 1930s, originally designed for director Manoel de Oliveira. This rehabilitation project answers the requirements of a new household, respecting the building’s historical and cultural legacy. As so, some underground spaces were adapted, and an autonomous volume was built. This new building has an iron structure and glass cladding.
