To make the difference in how the consumer visits and experiences a telecommunications store. This is the underlying idea that led to the new MEO store’s proximity concept in Portugal, which opened the way for an improved customer service. Even thought the service stations are kept as they were, the traditional counters are replaced by redesigned new elements. Customers can therefore be attended comfortably and experience in loco all the services and products, which are displayed more attractively and effectively.
In this new concept, physical barriers between clients and professionals are removed, facilitating contact and interaction, while promoting a proximity service, adapted to each client’s consumption patterns and lifestyle.
Through the creation of strategic paths, the use of new materials, and the careful design of the original furniture, the aim was to create an environment that captivates the consumers, making them feel at home. MEO can therefore improve the quality of the service provided, through a new way of thinking about space.
