In this approach, the intent was to develop a volume of six single-family house units that were arranged in a row, under a common base where garages, storage and laundries are located.
This volume is implanted perpendicularly to the street that serves the terrain and it’s distributed throughout a basement, a ground floor and 2 other floors.
In a permanent dialogue with the outdoor landscape, the large openings and balconies allow the full enjoyment of the garden scenery. The connection with the exterior also extends out from the living space patio facing the landscape, both in the front yard and in the back garden, where the most significant tree species were maintained and were also benefited by the new landscaping arrangement.
Each house allows entrance straight from the street both for pedestrian or vehicles accessing the garages.
At the ground floor we can find the kitchen, pantry, bathroom and living room which extends to the exterior through the patio. The 1st floor contains 2 bedrooms with private bathroom, one facing north-east and the other, with a balcony, facing south-west. On the 2nd floor there are two bedrooms with private terraces which provide even more outdoor space for the family to enjoy the exterior surroundings.
