The architectural proposal for the headquarters of Petrogal Brasil was inspired by the company's commitment to explore energy resources in harmony with nature, using technology to satisfy present needs without compromising the future of upcoming generations.
Since creating a singular and awe-inspiring reception area was one of the priorities, the space was repositioned to be aligned with the elevators atrium and a bronze marble floor was implemented, evoking the soil color of Brazil’s interior. On the walls, vertical gardens were created, which transport us to a fresh and lush tropical forest and contrast with the rigor and sobriety of the white marble counter, reminding us that technology can coexist harmoniously with nature.
The glass walls seek to maintain a permanent relationship between interior and exterior, allowing natural light to penetrate into circulation spaces. There is also a constant dialogue between "cold" and "technological" materials and "natural" and "warm" ones. This contrast is also reflected in the carpet selection for the pavement, whose pattern and type of manufacture is inspired by African tribes’ fabrics.
