This project was developed within the scope of the new accessibilities to Bessa Stadium, as part of the Euro 2004 program. It consisted in the creation of a node that allowed to organize and flow the traffic between the Paralela Avenue, Boavista Avenue, AIP Avenue and city´s highway, as well as ensure the connection towards the Metro station, in Francos.

It was proposed a roundabout, with the traffic directions of the East-West axis corresponding to the entrances and exits of the city. The roundabout thus establishes the articulation between the new Paralela Avenue to Boavista Avenue, AEP/Sidónio Pais Avenue and another street developed in a second phase, towards north. The project included the execution of two lower passages and the respective longitudinal walls following the sloping.
