Oran Anti-Cancer Center
The building plot destined to receive the Anti-Cancer Center has about 7290.0 m²/sqm. The new center is a complementary building to the main hospital complex, so that functional relationship is very close.
The designed building consists of 4 floors above ground and two floors below ground. The implementation of this building occupies almost the entire plot.
The proposed building is characterized by its monolithic shape, which translates into a parallelepiped body covered in glass and glazed ceramic tiles, which is placed on a flat and horizontal white concrete base that is embedded in the ground. These two elements are separated by an entirely technical stage whose facade is entirely covered by an aluminium grid. This element physically "separates" the ambulatory patient program from the surgical program and hospital accommodation, transmitting the lightness effect of the upper block.
The Anti-Cancer Center project consists of an affirmative building, with its own identity. It translates into a contemporary building, technological, human, with a balanced aesthetic but also with a strong impact, giving the entire hospital complex a new identity.
