The project for the new facilities of Critical Tecmaia is a reconversion of part of the Genesis Building of the mentioned complex.
Given the characteristics of the present project and the degradation of some elements, it was necessary to demolish, repair and consolidate others.
The industrial building has a ground floor plus mezzanine, and is divided essentially into 3 large spaces, two of which are for workstations and the other dedicated to support facilities such as meeting rooms, auditorium and living spaces / facilities. The aim is to develop spaces that foster and raise creative freedom for innovation.
The finishes are sober, predominantly white, which imparts neutrality and sobriety to the space, contrasting punctually with chromatic notes of blue and red in details and furniture, which allow to distinguish / identify the two main workspaces.
Carefully designed details such as the elegant spiral staircase leading to the mezzanine and the sofas modules that are distributed strategically through the spaces, give the whole identity and singularity.
The work areas are broadly benefiting from a homogeneous distribution of natural light thanks to the generous glazed skylights.
