Pedro Hispano Hospital’s ICU shortlisted for WAN Awards in the pro-bono category

Ventura + Partners features on this year’s WAN Awards shortlist with Pedro Hispano Hospital’s ICU in the Pro-bono Architecture category.

The global WAN Awards acknowledge excellent architecture. In its 13th year, the awards recognize the outstanding works of innovative and imaginative architects worldwide.

The Pro-bono Architecture category is a special WAN award focusing on projects with a humanitarian focus at their core. The finalists are examples of built work developed pro-bono or with particular attention from a corporate social responsibility (CSR) standpoint contributing to the built environment in a way that benefits communities.

The 2021 WAN Awards are judged by an extensive panel of top international experts who put entries through a rigorous and trusted process and reinforce the awards’ truly global outlook. The V+ project shortlisted received a warm review by the judges:

"Whilst simple, it is elegant in its approach; clever in its design and buildability (...) This is everything pro bono work should be and is really inspiring work."
